If I could re-do my tower, I would make some changes and these changes would be plan better for the tower not to lean, have the tower's width smaller and make the tower with more support on all sides. These problems were the problems my group and I faced. After these problems are fixed we can make an earthquake resistant building! This building will consist of spaghetti sticks that are exactly the same size because if they aren’t the tower will be pulled to reach the short piece. This was a difficulty we faced and hope to change next time we build.
These steps will eliminate the simple faults of a tower that is earthquake resistance. Once the tower doesn’t lean the sticks will be stronger and equally hold the pressure of the blocks. We struglled with keeping the spaghetti "stuck" inside the clay. We had lots of clay left-over which showed that we were not using enough but we felt we did. We faced some problems that were easily fixed if we focused and thought more beofre!
I am overall proud with my group and would work with them again. As of what we saw of the other groups making the tower small by width and have many "x"s' that made this tower sucessful and strong. If we could re-do our project we would make those changes. I am still proud of our work and we planned out a bit before but I think we were to eger to start we didn't plan well at the beggining of the project.
